Programs

Civitans
The Cornucopia Civitan Club is one of two special needs clubs in the Great Southwest District.  The club was chartered in March of 2008 and has grown to 51 members.  The weekly Civitan meeting has become an integral part of our program and supports the Cornucopia mission.  The members choose their own service and fundraising projects.  The club has completed numerous projects including work at the Ronald McDonald House and the Road Runner Food Bank.  The club meets on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm at Cornucopia.

Men’s & Women’s Groups
The Men’s and Women’s Groups are facilitated by Matthew Dutton, a current Cornucopia board member and a certified Master level Counselor.  The groups allow clients to discuss issues specific to adults with disabilities, including relationships, boundary setting, and accessibility issues within our community.  The Men’s Group meets every Tuesday at 1:00 pm and the Women’s Group meets every Tuesday at 1:30 pm.

Computer Classes
One of our very own Cornucopia participants teaches this group.  The classes allow members to build basic computer skills, work on resume writing, and enjoy recreational time on the computer.
